Dr. Alisha Mason

Dr. Alisha Mason

ASSOCIATE VETERINARIAN

Alisha Mason, DVM, graduated from Washington State University in 2022. Dr. Mason is a Colorado native and was born and raised in the Pueblo area, but spent most of her childhood running up and down the Arkansas River Valley visiting family and riding alongside her dad helping him fix farming equipment. She grew up in 4H showing dogs, cattle, market goats and sheep, and had a variety of pets through the years. Before veterinary school she worked for other mixed animal practices in Southeastern Colorado fueling her drive to return to the area and mixed animal work which is where she found her home at LAMC. Dr. Mason also serves on the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association as a regional leader. In her day to day work, she enjoys herd work and complex internal medicine cases the most, but she loves coming to work every day because it means helping you and your animals.

When not at work, you can often find her out at North Gateway Park on her stand up paddle board with one of her 3 dogs Lilly, Nova, and Pip. If she’s not there, she’s likely spending time with her husband Liam, volunteering, traveling, or gathering with close friends and family enjoying card and board games.

What our clients say about us

Excellent, caring service for our three heritage breed hogs who were in dire need of hoof trims, when every other vet from Pueblo to Lamar said they couldn’t help us. Not only did these rare animals receive the care they needed, but we were able to watch the process and learn how to do it ourselves in the future.

I absolutely love this clinic! Dr. Mason was beyond kind and was willing to work with me. The entire staff that we spoke with and dealt with was super supportive and helpful. My poor fur baby had parvo and they treated us with such love and kindness to help us through the process. And thankfully with Dr. Mason’s help she survived and now she’s a happy healthy puppy again. Thank you guys!

They really took care of our dog. They got us in when our normal vet was unavailable and truly helped us during a difficult time.

Very friendly staff. I’ve never felt rushed despite how busy they are. They work hard and we appreciate them very much.
